Engr. Peter Ekhaesomhi

Chairman

Engr. Peter Ekhaesomhi is a seasoned Petroleum Engineer with over
33 years of work experience in the Nigerian oil industry. He currently sits on
the Board of Waltersmith Petroman Oil    Limited, Nigeria where he retired
meritoriously in November 2020. He is currently acting in an advisory role to
the same Company where he accomplished a major development of Ibigwe
Oil field and the construction of the first 5000bpd Modular Oil Refinery
amongst others in Imo state.
He has held Senior Executive positions in his career and in some NGOs . He
belongs to the Nigerian Society of Engineers as well as a life member of the
Society of Petroleum Engineers(SPE), where he is an Ex Officio member. He is
happily married with children and grand children.

Dr. Afam Michael Okonkwo

Director

Dr. Afam Michael Okonkwo is a distinguished leader in real estate, with over 15 years in innovative marketing and more than 12 years in property acquisition, sales, and consulting. An alumnus of Imo State University and Lagos Business School, he began his career with PWAN Homes Ltd in 2013, quickly rising to Managing Director by 2017. Today, he is the Managing Director of PWAN Legend, Chairman of Folkland Property Development Company, and Group Deputy Managing Director/Vice President of PWAN Group, contributing significantly to its growth.

Dr. Okonkwo has launched the Legend Experience Centers in Lagos and Asaba, providing premium co-working and training spaces. Recognized internationally, he recently received the “UN Eminent Peace Ambassador Award” and is well-known for his philanthropic impact.

Peju Ibrahim

Director

Peju Ibrahim is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
During the course of her Banking career spanning over two decades she has
garnered diverse expertise in various Banks in the areas of Corporate Banking,
Risk Management, Operations, Company Secretariat and Legal. An alumnus of
the Lagos Business School Senior Management Project, she is passionate
about ensuring that the relevant Corporate Governance Structures and
Principles are established and duly observed in organisations.
She was part of the project team that handled the acquisition of Lion Bank by
Diamond Bank and subsequent integration of Lion Bank into Diamond Bank in
a seamless manner. A skilled facilitator, she has developed competency and
interest in passing on knowledge that has been acquired over the years.

MR. OBINNA MBATA

Legal Practitioner | Public Administrator | Financial and Governance Expert

Mr. Obinna Mbata is a distinguished legal practitioner and public administrator with extensive experience spanning banking, public finance, governance and executive leadership. He is the Managing Partner of Obinna Mbata & Co. (Legal Practitioners) and a former banking legal professional with over a decade of experience in the Legal Services Division of the former Diamond Bank Plc, now Access Bank Plc.
He served as Honourable Commissioner for Internal Resources and Pensions, Imo State (2014–2015), and Honourable Commissioner for Finance on two occasions between 2016 and 2018. He also served as Interim Chairman of the Forum of Finance Commissioners of Nigeria (2016–2017), a member of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), and Chairman of the Imo State Ad-hoc Committee on Housing. In 2019, he contested for the Owerri Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Mbata holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master’s degree in Financial Law and Policy from Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja. His multidisciplinary background combines legal expertise, financial sector knowledge and public-sector leadership, with particular strengths in institutional governance, regulatory compliance, fiscal oversight and strategic resource management.

Ugochukwu Isaac- Chidike

UGOCHUKWU ISAAC-CHIDIKE is a Trust Lawyer and a seasoned Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to many Companies. He has gained over 27 years corporate/commercial law experience, at some of Nigeria’s big Firms here in Lagos, such as, Diamond Capital and Financial Markets Limited, (formerly a subsidiary of Diamond Bank Plc), UBA Capital & Trust Limited (formerly UBA Trustees Limited) and Capital Bank Limited (now Access Bank Plc) in Lagos. He also worked as a Manager in the Company Secretary’s Office at Enterprise Bank Limited (now Heritage Bank Limited) and Assistant Vice President, Group Head Compliance/Company Secretariat at Asset and Resource Management Limited (ARM). He is a life coach & teacher and shares a passion for Human Development and Leadership Skills as well as assisting others in achieving Self-Confidence and life Goals through constant positive motivation. He holds an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Lagos, Akoka, with a Ph.D (in view) from the University of Calabar. He is currently the Managing Partner of Sessile Consulting & Corporate Services, a Corporate Secretarial outfit rendering diverse Secretarial, Legal, Corporate and Consulting Services to Corporate Institutions, Corporations, Parastatals and individuals.

AMBROSE OKOLO

Ambrose has over 29 years work experience spanning Pension Fund Management, Audit/Tax/Accounting services, Banking and Corporate/Financial Advisory services during which he has served as Adviser on several projects in the Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Hospitality and Manufacturing Industries.

Onyekachukwu Egesie

Senior Associate

Onyeka obtained her LL.B (Hons.) from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2013 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.
She is actively involved in corporate/commercial legal practice. Her other areas of interest are International Trade law, Legal Research, and Legal Advisory
